waitcond is a script to specify a combination of events using boolean expressions over various events. It can periodically grep in files, wait for the (dis)appearance of files or processes, wait for certain CPU/net/disk idle values, or wait for an idle tty. waitcond is meant to be combined with some notification tool or system.

Wapsh allows users to login to a Unix workstation using a WAP-capable mobile phone. Features include shortcuts (to save phone typing), input of control and other special characters, command history, and searching and scrolling through long shell output. Wapsh automatically adapts to the main WAP browsers (UP and Nokia), and uses configuration files to further tailor the system for specific phones. A corresponding HTML (Web) interface is also included.

WBL is a really simple tool that can be used in a .qmail file for managing a white/black list of email addresses. It serves as a pre-filter to allow known-good friends and associates bypass the usual gauntlet of filters. Note that WBL is not intended to be a spam filter, it is simply an easy-to-use whitelist/blacklist management tool that serves to keep email that you really want to see out of your normal filters.

It allows domain owners to add new users and aliases, and allows users to update their personal information. Resellers can control their domain accounts and the server administrator controls all functionality. Scripting, shell access, SSI, etc. is all controlled from a top-down approach. web-cp is designed for Unix-like systems and is not distribution specific. It currently supports Red Hat, Fedora, Debian, FreeBSD, Slackware and likely others.

Webfs (a.k.a. webfsd) is a simple HTTP server for purely static content. You can use it to serve the content of an FTP server via HTTP, for example. It can also be used to quickly export some files by starting an httpd server in a few seconds, without editing config files first. It knows how to use sendfile() on linux and FreeBSD. There is also sendfile emulation code which uses read()+write() and a userland bounce buffer; this allows one to compile and use webfs on systems without sendfile(). The stripped binary is less then 32Kb, making it great for floppy distros, recycled hardware, embedded systems (cramfs/romfs/flash disk) and other resource-limited environments.

Webfwlog is a Web-based firewall log reporting and analysis tool. It allows users to design reports to use on logged firewall data in whatever configuration they desire. Included are sample reports as a starting point. Reports can be sorted with a single click, or "drilled-down" all the way to the packet level, and saved for later use. Supported log formats are netfilter, ipfilter, ipfw, ipchains, and Windows XP. Netfilter support includes ulogd MySQL or PostgreSQL database logs using the iptables ULOG target.

Werc is a minimalistic RESTful Web application framework and content management system. It follows the Unix "tool philosophy" and it is designed to be fast, simple, convenient, and easily extensible. It handles both small and big sites and has a flexible system for user and group permissions. All data is stored in plain text files that can be easily manipulated with standard tools, without using any databases or other external dependencies. Existing applications include a blogging engine with RSS/Atom feeds, a wiki system that can easily integrate pre-existing documents (can be enabled for any directory tree), and others.
