Pdbsql provides three samba passdb backend modules: pdb_mysql, pdb_pgsql, and pdb_multi. pdb_mysql is a MySQL passdb backend. pdb_pgsql is a PostgreSQL passdb backend. pdb_multi is a backend which loads multiple passdb backends. These are provided because support for MySQL and PostGreSQL passdb backends has been removed from the Samba source tree, due to lack of an active maintainer.
mysql-diff is a commandline database structure comparator. It compares the structure of two databases. It currently works with MySQL. A database can be specified as an SQL script or as an URL to a running database. So the tool can compare two scripts, two live databases, or a database and a script. The tool outputs SQL DDL script that can be used to convert one schema to another.
movemetafs is a searchable filesystem metadata store for Linux that lets users tag local files (including image, video, audio, and text files) by simply moving the files to a special folder using any file manager. It also lets users find files by tags using a boolean search query. The original files (and their names) are kept intact. movemetafs doesn't have its own user interface, but it is usable with any file manager.
BUSH (Business Shell) combines the capabilities of BASH, PHP, GCC, and databases into a uniform design for rapidly building secure, reliable Web sites. Based on an ISO standard, it promotes code reuse: scripts and templates can be compiled with GCC or ported to JVM or .Net using third party tools with only minor changes. It can also replace BASH as an interactive command shell with SQL support, and is a general purpose scripting language.
