The 2DECOMP&FFT library is a software framework in Fortran to build large-scale parallel applications. It is designed for applications using three-dimensional structured mesh and spatially implicit numerical algorithms. At the foundation, it implements a general-purpose 2D pencil decomposition for data distribution on distributed-memory platforms. On top, it provides a highly scalable and efficient interface to perform three-dimensional distributed FFTs.

x11vis is a visual and interactive tool for debugging X11 clients. Unlike other tools such as xtrace, it displays human readable IDs on all requests, no matter at which point in time the information becomes available. To help you cope with large amounts of data, it displays only the most important information by default, automatically folds sequences of boring requests, allows you to filter by packet type or client, and provides markers for navigation. Instead of assigning a number to each connection, it displays the command line with which that client was started.

"kdiv" is a generator of routines for optimized division by an integer constant based on the work presented in H.S. Warren's "Hacker's Delight". "kdiv" can be used to emit a generic assembly or C implementation of signed or unsigned division.

Red language is a native-code compiled functional, imperative, symbolic, and homoiconic programming language that re-uses most of REBOL's syntax and semantics. Both static and JIT compilation support are planned. A strong emphasis is made on concurrency and both task and data parallelism support using an actor-like abstraction and parallel collections (Scala-like). The target range of usage spreads from low-level system programming (thanks to the built-in Red/System C-level DSL) and embedded systems, up to high-level scripting, with an optional REPL console.

blists is a Web interface to mailing list archives. It works off indexed mbox files. It includes two programs: bindex and bit. bindex generates or updates the index file (incremental updates are supported). bit is a CGI/SSI program that generates Web pages on the fly. Both programs are written in C and are very fast.

The Aida project is two-fold: it defines a simple common markup language designed to describe structured text, and it implements a compiler that translates the Aida syntax into various target formats (HTML, LaTeX, Trac, Mediawiki, Text, Markdown, and others). The system is fast, flexible, and extensible. The core command, aida, is a strict parser (written using Bison and Flex), which analyzes files written in the Aida Markup Language and invokes callbacks in order to convert them to the target format. It embeds a Tcl language interpreter and the callbacks are written in Tcl. This makes it very easy to extend the library and to define new target formats. Furthermore, the Aida files are highly parameterizable via a header and the entire system is configurable at the admin and at the user level. It is also possible to evaluate Tcl code within an Aida file and thus create dynamic contents.
