CVSToys is a collection of companion tools for the Concurrent Versions System, better known as CVS. It currently contains FreshCVS, which performs actions in response to a commit. Actions include notification by various methods, updating a working copy, and rsync'ing to backup. Another key feature of FreshCVS notifications is that you receive one per commit, not one for each directory of the commit as loginfo-triggered scripts are prone to do. FreshCVS is extensible with Python, and notifications may be published by a Perspective Broker network service, allowing 3rd party clients to listen in.
Calcurse is a text-based calendar and scheduling application. It helps keep track of events, appointments, and everyday tasks. A configurable notification system reminds the user of upcoming deadlines, and the curses based interface can be customized to suit user needs. All of the commands are documented within an online help system.
Camram is an anti-spam system that for the first time makes practical the holy grail of sender-pays email. It forces spammers to expend unsupportable levels of effort while imposing negligible burdens on everyday users. Its "hybrid sender-pays" design provides anti-spam benefits to the first user that adopts it, while supporting graceful scalability to massive numbers of users.
Canoe is an online book cataloging system. All users are equal and able to either share or borrow books, and the system helps to store and browse book data. It also automates the borrowing process so you can find a book and make an arrangement with the owner with only few clicks. It is fast and robust and was designed to be easily extended and modified.
