It analyzes the C program to determine the smallest number of run-time checks that must be inserted in the program to prevent all memory safety violations. The resulting program is memory safe, meaning that it will stop rather than overrun a buffer or scribble over memory that it shouldn't touch. Many programs can be made memory-safe this way while losing only 10-60% run-time performance. CCured can find more bugs that Purify misses but with much less run-time cost.
CMake is a cross-platform, open-source build system. It is used to control the software compilation process using simple platform and compiler independent configuration files. It generates native makefiles and workspaces that can be used in the compiler environment of your choice. CMake is quite sophisticated: it is possible to support complex environments requiring system configuration, pre-processor generation, and code generation.
RJCE enables the editing of any method at runtime, applying the changes to any combination of objects, such as an array, or a complete class. It consists of a compiler, javaprec, and an IDE, Runtime Object Modifier (ROM). javaprec is used to compile programs, enabling runtime editing, and uses both sun.tools.javac and ANLTR for compilation. ROM is a JFrame used for editing methods, browsing classes, and viewing variables at runtime. It also includes an interpreter that runs Java scripts (which circumvent normal language access control) and is run from within any Java program. It reads Web logs and generates some interesting statistics, including details about average and peak concurreny (based on overlapping start times and durations), and the average and peak size and duration of requests over time.
