Condor is a high throughput system, scheduling and providing large amounts of computational power over a long period of time. It provides the efficient use of a large variety of systems, from idle desktop workstations and dedicated clusters to grid systems all over the world, while its incredibly flexible configuration implements and maintains the machine owner's desired policy for the machine's availability.
The dump package contains both dump and restore. Dump examines files in a filesystem, determines which ones need to be backed up, and copies those files to a specified disk, tape or other storage medium. The restore command performs the inverse function of dump; it can restore a full backup of a filesystem. Subsequent incremental backups can then be layered on top of the full backup. Single files and directory subtrees may also be restored from full or partial backups.
Flex is a tool for generating programs that recognize lexical patterns in text. There are many applications for Flex, including writing compilers in conjunction with GNU Bison. Flex is a free implementation of the well known Lex program. It features a Lex compatibility mode, and also provides several new features such as exclusive start conditions.
gpsd is a daemon that listens to a GPS or Loran receiver and translates the positional data into a simplified format that can be more easily used by other programs, like chart plotters. The package comes with a sample client that plots the location of the currently visible GPS satellites (if available) and a speedometer. It can also use DGPS/ip.
HTML Forms generation and validation is a PHP class that generates HTML forms supporting many built-in validation types on server and client sides. It prevents security attacks by discarding spoofed values, has multiple submit protection, outputs HTML for fields displayed as fully accessible or in read-only mode, and has field value filtering and reformatting. It can be extended with custom control plug-ins. AJAX based form submission, upload monitor progress bar, auto-complete text input, automatic layout renderer, calendar date, CAPTCHA, Google Maps world location selection, linked select, and animation effects plug-ins are available.

Isabelle is a popular generic theorem prover developed at Cambridge University and TU Munich. Existing logics like Isabelle/HOL provide a theorem proving environment ready to use for sizable applications. Isabelle may also serve as framework for rapid prototyping of deductive systems. It comes with a large library including Isabelle/HOL (classical higher-order logic), Isabelle/HOLCF (Scott's Logic for Computable Functions with HOL), Isabelle/FOL (classical and intuitionistic first-order logic), and Isabelle/ZF (Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory on top of FOL).
