MUSCLE (Multi User Server Client Linking Environment) is an N-way messaging server and networking API. It includes client-side networking APIs for various languages, including C, C++, C#, Delphi, Java, and Python. MUSCLE lets programs communicate over a network via streams of serialized Message objects. The included server program ("muscled") lets its clients message each other and store information in its server-side hierarchical database. The database supports flexible queries via hierarchical wildcarding, and "live" updates via a subscription mechanism.
Jodd is a Java utility library and set of frameworks. Jodd tools enrich the JDK with many powerful and feature rich utilities. It helps with everyday tasks, and makes code more robust and reliable. Jodd frameworks is set of lightweight application frameworks, compact yet powerful. Designed following the CoC, DRY, and SCS principles, it makes development simple, but not simpler; you get 90% of the features with 10% of the usual effort.
RSyntaxTextArea is a syntax highlighting, code folding text editor. It has support for over 30 programming languages and is completely customizable. By extending JTextComponent, it easily integrates into any Swing application and provides an easy way to add syntax highlighting to a program.
JGame is a 2D game engine that makes multi-platform development easier. It runs on the Java JRE 1.3+ platform with optional OpenGL (JOGL) enhancements, the J2ME (MIDP2.0/CLDC1.1) mobile platform, and the Android (2.1+) platform. JGame features sprites with automatic animation and collision detection, a tile-based background with easy sprite-tile interaction facilities, automatic scaling, sound, game state, persistent storage, and game options. The engine provides an enhanced graphics API with a fallback to simpler and more efficient graphics on J2ME and plain JRE. A patched version of the JBox2D physics engine that runs on all platforms is included.
Mantissa is a collection of various mathematical algorithms in Java aimed towards simulation. It features a small set of linear algebra classes, a least squares estimator, some curve fitting classes, several ordinary differential equation integrators (all supporting multiple switching functions and dense output), vectors and rotations in a three dimensional space, algebra-related classes like rational and double polynomials, various orthogonal polynomials, some optimization algorithms using direct search methods, and more.
The Java Application Monitor (JAMon) is a free, simple, high performance, thread safe, Java API that allows developers to easily monitor production applications. JAMon can be used to determine application performance bottlenecks, user/application interactions, and application scalability. JAMon gathers summary statistics such as hits, execution times (total, average, minimum, maximum, standard deviation), and simultaneous application requests. JAMon statistics are displayed in the sortable JAMon report.
XMLUnit provides assertions and supporting class libraries to test various properties of generated pieces of XML using a popular testing framework. It supports finding the differences between two pieces of XML, validating documents against DTDs or XML Schemas, testing the results of XPath expressions, or asserting properties of Nodes exposed via DOM traversal. Two branches exist: one that supports Java and JUnit and one that supports the .NET Framework and NUnit.
Unified I/O is high performance Java I/O library. It features high performance (due to buffering), memory management, the ability to access streams, arrays, and files using the same interface, the ability to read or write directly from or into primitive arrays, and optimized reading over HTTP. Unified I/O also contains many utilities: Transformer, BitInputStream and BitOutputStream, PackBits, a RLE4 and RLE8 decoder, a base64 codec implementation, and many others.
The JCalendar library is a set of Java classes that provides a ComboBox (JCalendarComboBox) for selecting a Date and a simple Panel (JCalendarPanel) for showing and editing a Date. It was written with two rules in mind. The first is to use the current Look and Feel instead of hard-coded Fonts or Colors. The second is to use the default or a given Locale for determining such values as the start of week and names of days and months instead of hard-coded locale behavior.
Software to manipulate, monitor, and manage messages in a queue of a WebSphere MQ (formally MQSeries) queue manager from a command-line or shell scripting environment.
Provides a generic CDS (or ARINC 661 Server) conforming to the ARINC 661 standard.
