BRL-CAD is a powerful constructive solid geometry solid modeling system that includes an interactive geometry editor, ray-tracing support for rendering and geometric analysis, path-tracing for realistic image synthesis, network distributed framebuffer support, and image and signal-processing tools.
Zsh is a UNIX command interpreter (shell) which of the standard shells most resembles the Korn shell (ksh). Elektra is a universal hierarchical configuration store, similar to GConf and the Windows Registry. It allows programs to read and save their configurations with a consistent API, and allows them to be aware of other applications' configurations, leveraging easy application integration. While architecturally similar to other OS registries, Elektra does not have most of the problems found in those implementations. Elektra includes a library, an API, and commandline and GUI tools for administration tasks.
scdbackup is a simplified CD/DVD backup program for Linux. It can back up large amounts of data on one or more media, with no special tools needed for reading the backup. It supports ISO9660 filesystems and afio archives. Its special features are automatic division of data into multiple volumes, verification of write success, incremental backups, a search and restore helper for large ISO9660 backups. CDs get written via cdrecord, wodim, cdrskin, or xorriso. DVDs and BDs get written via growisofs, cdrskin, or xorriso.
SQLIer takes an URL vulnerable to SQL injection attacks and attempts to determine all of the necessary information to build and exploit an SQL injection hole by itself. It requires no user interaction unless it can't guess the table/field names correctly. By doing so, it can build a UNION SELECT query designed to brute force passwords out of the database. It does not use quotes in the exploit, meaning it will work for a wider range of sites. An 8 character password (containing any character from decimal ASCII code 1-127) takes approximately one minute to crack.
autogen.sh (a.k.a. buildconf) provides automatic build system preparation and is generally very useful to projects that use the GNU build system (i.e. the GNU autotools: autoconf, automake, and libtool). It is a POSIX shell script that is used for preparing a build system for compilation, verifying versions, ensuring necessary functionality, and overcoming many common build preparation issues.
