Launch4j is a cross-platform tool for wrapping Java applications distributed as jars in Windows native executables. The executable can be configured to search for a certain JRE version or use a bundled one, and it's possible to set runtime options, like the initial/max heap size. The wrapper also provides better user experience through an application icon, a native pre-JRE splash screen, and a Java download page in case the appropriate JRE cannot be found. The increase in size of the application is small.
QuantLib is a cross-platform, quantitative finance C++ library for modeling, pricing, trading, and risk management in real-life. It is also wrapped as Python/Ruby/Scheme modules. Extensions for Excel, R, and Mathematica are available. Other such extensions are under consideration. QuantLib offers tools that are useful both for practical implementation and for advanced modeling. It features market conventions, yield curve models, solvers, PDEs, Monte Carlo (low-discrepancy included), exotic options, VAR, and so on.
PCP (Pattern Classification Program) is a machine learning program for supervised classification of patterns. It runs in interactive and batch modes, and implements the following machine learning algorithms and methods: k-means clustering, Fisher's linear discriminant, dimension reduction using Singular Value Decomposition, Principal Component Analysis, feature subset selection, Bayes error estimation, parametric classifiers (linear and quadratic), pseudo-inverse linear discriminant, k-Nearest Neighbor method, neural networks, Support Vector Machine algorithm (SVM), model selection for SVM, cross-validation, and bagging (committee) classification.

Inspired by the BeOS, it aims to provide users of all levels with a personal computing experience that is simple yet powerful, and free of any unnecessary complexities. It aims for source and binary compatibility with BeOS R5.
CPC (Continuation Passing C) is a programming language designed for writing concurrent systems. The CPC programmer manipulates very lightweight threads, choosing whether they should be cooperatively or preemptively scheduled at any given point; the CPC program is then processed by the CPC translator, which produces highly efficient event-loop code. This approach gives the best both worlds: the relative convenience of programming with threads, and the low memory usage of event-loop code. The semantics of CPC is defined as a source-to-source translation from CPC into plain C using a technique known as conversion into Continuation Passing Style. The current implementation of CPC has been used to write Hekate, a BitTorrent seeder designed to handle millions of simultaneous torrents and tens of thousands of simultaneously connected peers.
A Simple Version Control System is an easy to install and easy to to use version/revision control system. It differs from most other version control systems in that it is designed to keep track of files in place. It does not allow any changes to be made to files; all changes require the users to change files externally with FTP or SSH access. It is very easy to set up and use. Users do not need to work with repository, branches, commit, and check-out files. All a user needs to do is upload the changes files and click Update, or if enabled, just wait for it to be updated automatically.
ustr (Micro string library) is a string API for C. It has tiny overhead over just plain strdup(), is much safer, is easier to use, is faster for many operations, can be used with read-only or automatically allocated data. You don't even need to link to the library to use it (so there are no dependencies).
