Fossil is a distributed software configuration management/version control system built with reliability and ease of use on mind. It comes with integrated bug tracking and a wiki. It is distributed as a single static binary for easy installation and the ability to run in a chrooted environment. Other highlights include a Web interface, autosync, simple networking, and CGI support.
JGame Flash is an ActionScript 3 port of the JGame 3.5 API. It can be compiled with the free Flex toolkit. A Java-AS3 translator is included to make porting games easier. The goal of this project is to eventually enable JGame Java games to be converted (partially) automatically to ActionScript 3. JGame Flash works on Android Flash 10.1 and supports accelerometer input.
Tiny Tcl 6.8 is a rommable, minimal Tcl implementation for embedded applications. Derived from the venerable Tcl 6.7 release, Tiny Tcl 6.8 has a solid Tcl feature set, excluding newer capabilities of Tcl 7 and 8 such as the bytecode compiler, namespaces, sockets, and async event handling, among others. Excluding C library functions, Tiny Tcl compiles down to less than 60 Kbytes on most machines, far smaller than any Tcl 7 or Tcl 8 derivatives.
slm4j (Starschema License Manager for Java) is a simple and easy-to-use license file generator and validator package for Java programs. It includes a command line tool for generating private and public keys for cryptographic signing, and a runtime class (or jar module) to validate the generated keys. The signed data is an ASCII armored file, which could store date or time limitations, functionality restrictions, or any user specified strings. The embedded license file validation ensures that file is not modified by using the DSA algorithm.
Rhope is a dynamically typed dataflow programming language that also borrows some ideas from other paradigms. Unlike mainstream programming languages, statements are not necessarily executed in the order they are written, but instead based on their dependencies. Statements that do not share dependencies run in parallel. Most operations have value semantics (i.e. modifying an object makes a copy rather than changing the original) making this parallelism safe. For managing global state, Rhope has a transaction mechanism.
Minimac is a minimalist, general purpose text macro processor. Its simplicity should make it particularly well suited as a front end preprocessor for little language compilers. It is meant to be simpler to use than m4. It uses an explicit argument stack, and user functions are defined by concatenation (similar to the Forth language). Macro expansion is delayed to the last possible moment. The software is currently in alpha release.
