MAC vendor check is a script that gathers MAC addresses in a network and creates a list of the vendor of each device. It can be use to quickly check whether strange devices are present on the network, especially if there is no dedicated management software (like Cisco Works) in use on the network.
Destiney Script's Lottery script is a Web application that helps to pick your "lucky" Powerball Lottery numbers. Random quick picks use statistical logic based on previous winning numbers to inversely weight the results for better "random" picks. The latest winning Powerball results can be imported as well.
The Platonos Projects are a group of sub projects aimed to provide Java developers with a stand-alone plugin engine as well as a pluggable Swing application framework similar to other RCP (Rich Client Platforms) available. The goal is to have an out-of-the-box runnable Swing application with the more common pieces applications contain, such as preferences, help, file I/O choosers, configuration, and more all via plugins which can be left out if not needed. Building upon the shell is very easy by simply adding plugins that provide extended behavior for existing plugins, or adding new plugins that will then be extended by other plugins.
Libdnsres provides a non-blocking, thread-safe API for resolving DNS names. It requires that your main application is built on top of libevent. The API essentially mirrors the traditional gethostbyname and getaddrinfo interfaces. All return values have been replaced by callbacks instead. The code borrows heavily from the BSD resolver library. In fact, it is an extremely ugly hack to make the BSD resolver library non-blocking and thread-safe without changing the API too much. Although it has not been tested heavily, it should compile on BSD systems and Linux. The library comes with a simple test program that can be use to verify if it works correctly.
The PHP Application Distribution Licensing System (PADL) generates keys that control the distribution of PHP applications according to a license. It generates license strings that can bind PHP applications to specific servers, confine execution to a limited time period, or restrict execution to a single server. The time limiting uses a start period (and a given start offset to allow for time discrepancies) and an expiry date if required. When validating a key it is possible to optionally make applications dial home to check the license key on your own server. It is also possible to encrypt additional information into the license key.
mod_unzip is an Apache 2.0 module to transparently access files stored in ZIP archives. It is handy when multiple files that belong to the same context should be combined together without having to deal with a lot of files, such as HTML pages that contain images or articles that consist of multiple files. Access to files is very fast and the module does not create any temporary files nor does it load the whole archive into memory. It uses the external unzip program, which may cause a slight overhead due to a fork() operation for every file request from the ZIP archive.
bib_uploadfile is a PHP class that can be used to process files uploaded via Web forms. The class can move the uploaded files to another directory, eventually with a new file name. If the other directory does not exist, the class may create it. If the uploaded files are actually image files, the class may also resize them to a given new image size.
