arc is an ASN.1 compiler written by FORGE Research for use in internal projects. It is being released under a BSD-like licence. arc creates Java source code that uses the basic ASN.1 classes that were created for use with other FORGE projects. These basic ASN.1 classes are included in the arc distribution.
ArgoUML is a pure Java open source UML CASE tool that provides cognitive support for object-oriented design. ArgoUML provides some of the same editing and code generation features of a commercial CASE tool, but it focuses on features that enhance usability and support the cognitive needs of designers. Uses XML file formats: XMI and PGML.
e4Graph is a C++ library that allows programs to store graph-like data persistently and to access and manipulate that data efficiently. With e4Graph, you can arrange your data in the most natural form that reflects the relationships between its parts, rather than having to force it into a table-like format. The e4Graph library also allows you to concentrate on the relationships you want to represent, and not on how to store them in a database. You can modify data items, and add and remove connections and relationships between pieces of data on the fly. e4Graph allows you to represent an unlimited number of different connections between pieces of data, and your program can selectively manipulate the data according to the relationships it cares about, not having to know about other connections represented in the data set.
FreeMarker is a template engine that was originally designed so that servlet-based applications could keep graphical design separate from application logic. The templates provide an easy and highly flexible way to generate any kind of text output (HTML, PostScript, TeX, source code, etc.) from a variety of data sources such as Java objects, Jython objects, XML object models, and more.
The ANTLR ANSI C and GCC source to source translation framework includes an ANSI-C parser which builds trees, a GCC parser which builds trees, a GCC tree parser (for you to subclass to do transformations), and a GCC tree emitter. The GCC parser is only for GCC's extensions to C, not C++. It is based on GCC 2.95.2.
IDebug is an advanced debugging framework for Java. It provides the standard core debugging and specification constructs such as assertions, debug levels and categories, stack traces, and specialized exceptions. Debugging functionality can be fine-tuned to a per-thread and/or a per-class basis, debugging contexts can be stored and recovered from persistent store, and several aspects of the debugging run-time are configurable at the meta-level.
Jacquard is a Web-database integration toolkit, written as a Java Servlet package. It is designed to make it extremely easy to build two- and three-tier client-server applications which will be completely portable to any hardware platform and operating system which supports a Java 1.2-compliant JVM or a JDBC 2.0-compliant database management system, or any Web server or Web Application Server which supports the JSDK 2.0 API.
