SmartSign is a set of modules which allow integration of smartcard technology into an OpenCA based Public Key Infrastructure in order to provide smartcard-based digital signature and local authentication security services. It allows direct signing of e-mail and e-news from within Netscape using smartcards and supports signing of generic files from command line. The package includes a PAM module too, which allows system administrators to integrate smartcard-based authentication for local users. A modified version of the OpenSSH client allows secure authentication to a remote server. A couple of command line tools allow signing and verifying generic files from the shell. Finally, a command line interactive shell supports all operations on the card, and can be used to write scripts that automate particular tasks on the card. Currently only Schlumberger Cyberflex Access 16K is supported.
w3m is a pager/text-based WWW browser. It is similar to Lynx, but handles some things like page navigation differently. It can render tables and frames (by converting frames into tables) or display a document given from standard input. It can also be used with mouse in an xterm or in a gpm-driven console, and it is small.
wApua is a WAP WML browser written in Perl with a Tk user interface. It uses libwww-perl as its backend, has history and cache, and can display most WML tags, including tables and WBMP images. It includes a WBMP to XBM (wbmp2xbm) converter for command line use. It runs under X11 on Linux, BSD, Solaris, and Mac OS X as well as on Windows (both native and under Cygwin with X11). It should also work on other operating systems which are supported by Perl 5.6 or higher and Tk 800 or higher.
wb0 is an SVGAlib Web browser. It's good for practical purposes like image viewing and viewing Czech texts in unknown encoding; the encoding is easily user-switchable and reconfigurable (UNICODE-based). Its graphical features include text grayscaling, resolutions from 320x200x256 to 1600x1200x16777216, Floyd-Steinberg ultra-precise dithering for all resolutions, and a sophisticated gamma and colour-balance setting. It can view all PNGs, JFIF/JPEGs, and PCXs, and most GIFs (no truecolor and no animation). It uses lynx to access Web pages and for typesetting.
Webrowse, inbrowse, and "go" are tools that facilitate interfaces between a Web browser (Firefox/Mozilla, Netscape, or Mosaic) and other components of a Unix desktop, such as the command line, the X11 cut buffer, editors, email readers, etc. Browse any source of text, HTML, files, URLs, pieces of URLs, simple search and lookup specifications, etc., including automatic markup of implicit URLs and paths in the text.
Server-side FileManager is a Java servlet which implements FileManager. You can use this servlet for remote site management: upload/download files, copy/move files, edit files, etc. Its main advantage is that it uses only the HTTP protocol for access to your host, which allows it to work through most firewalls.
