QLBar is a toolbar gadget for X11 that contains icons and allows you to launch associated applications quickly. Normally, it appears as a one pixel line high placed at the edge of the screen. When the mouse is moved over this line, QLBar appears as a bar with icon images.

bbcpufreq is GUI front end for the CPU frequency daemon for Linux, cpufreqd. It finds its use in blackbox-like minimalistic window managers (in the slit/docking application). It allows users to switch cpufreqd between manual and dynamic modes, and to select a desired power profile (i.e. desired speed and speed limits).

Pop3eye is a POP3 email notifier. It can be placed in a "dock", or use a regular or undecorated popup window. Regular expressions are used to filter email. It can display up to 20 partial lines of the email body in a tooltip window. It can monitor and display an unlimited number of accounts. You can choose to show messages using regular expressions, or delete messages from the server.
