jSmaTeP assists in the use of Java for processing import and export data by configuring a data structure rather than by programming it. The structure of the import data is specified in an XML file. jSmaTeP then generates a value object representing exactly one row or record in the import file based on a given XML data configuration. This means that if the import or export format changes, only the XML data configuration needs to be changed to match it.

The pbs_python package is a wrapper class for the Torque Batch System C library. With this package, you now can write utilities and extensions in Python instead of C. This package was developed to replace xpbsmon by an ASCII version named pbsmon. PBSQuery is also included in this package. This is a Python module built on top of the pbs Python module to simplify querying the batch server. There are a lot of examples included in the source package.

Job Monarch is an add-on to the Ganglia Monitoring System that provides batch job monitoring and archiving plus a graphical overview of clusters and assorted batch systems. It fully supports Torque and PBS, and has experimental support for LSF and SGE.
