wcfg is a flexible and easy to customise script that can configure (or remove) complete LAMP-like virtual Web servers. It supports both nginx with php-fpm and apache2 with mod_php and can manage name based virtual servers, MySQL databases and privileges, FTP and SFTP users, and awstats and related static reports. It configures logrotate, and keeps everything consistent with the regulations and automatisms provided by the standard Debian packages. A new user is created for every virtual server, with the Web site root path as the home directory.
bash argsparse is a high-level argument parsing library for bash. Its purpose is to replace the option parsing and usage describing functions commonly rewritten in all scripts. Its features include automatic help message generation, user input checking (type checking, enumerations, etc.), and option properties (mandatory options, option aliases, options excluding each others, etc.). It is implemented for bash version 4. Prior versions of bash will fail at interpreting the code.
Whonix is an anonymous general-purpose operating system based on Virtual Box, Debian GNU/Linux, and Tor. By design, IP and DNS leaks are impossible. Not even malware with root rights can find out the user's real IP/location, because Whonix consists of two (virtual) machines. One machine solely runs Tor and acts as a gateway, called Whonix-Gateway. The other machine, Whonix-Workstation, is on a completely isolated network. Only connections through Tor are possible.
Epikscan is a cluster aware, diagnostic script that runs basic health checks and gathers detailed, addressable system information from an RHEL, Scientific Linux, Oracle/OVM2, or CentOS 4, 5, or 6 system. A single archive is created for each host, containing the scan data along with linking information that can be merged with scans from other nodes to produce a cluster oriented report. HTML, text, XML, and SQLite3 database reports can be optionally generated to support both manual and automated fault analysis. The scan and merge process attempts to heuristically identify possible problems with the node or cluster configuration and highlights them in red to speed up the review and resolution process.
WordBash is a Wordpress clone written in Bash, the GNU Bourne-Again SHell. Everything is generated and output by Bash. No AWK. No SED. No TR. It is all Bash (with one exception). It is a CGI script with an attempt at an OO-like design. It currently supports posts (categories, tags), comments (with spam rejection), themes (true templates), and code highlighting as an administration addon. The current script size is 21 files of about 2500 lines and only 44 kilobytes.
