DR14 T.meter is a commandline tool for computing the Dynamic Range of your music according to the procedure used in the offline meter released by the Pleasurize Music Foundation. It is very useful to measure how loud your music is and to understand that a good quality album always has a good dynamic. It's also useful for understanding the effects of the so-called loudness war.
FFSampledSP is a free implementation of the javax.sound.sampled.spi interfaces. It is part of the SampledSP collection of javax.sound.sampled libraries. Its main purpose is to decode audio from various formats at high speed using FFmpeg. To do so, it uses the tagtraum FFmpeg package, which offers FFmpeg binaries configured to decode audio while avoiding CODECs with patent problems. In other words, it supports formats like Ogg and FLAC well, while leaving MPEG-4 and MP3 unsupported.

Giada aims to be a compact and portable virtual device for production use and live sets.
Jipes is a Java library that allows you to efficiently compute audio features. Possible uses for these features are general music information retrieval (MIR) applications or, more specifically, personal music software. Unlike many other digital signal processing (DSP) libraries or frameworks, Jipes is not meant for real time processing of a single audio stream that is manipulated and eventually played back. Instead, it focuses on efficiently executing mutiple processing pipelines that transform a signal into a feature or feature set. Since Jipes focuses on features instead of the raw, untyped signal streams, it supports rich types to be used, where other frameworks only offer arrays of raw data. Also, by using Java generics, many core interfaces and classes can be typed to whatever class you see fit for the purpose. However, Jipes also comes with useful pre-defined types and support for raw arrays.

audioloader is a minimalist music library browser that enables the browsing of a local music collection in any Web browser. It supports album/directory oriented audio/music listening. Album playlists are generated dynamically, and can either be queued into Audacious through a script distributed with the application or downloaded and opened with any music player. It is self-contained with no dependency on any external application but the Web browser, and supports cover art display, history, random album selection, and sub-collections. It has limited mobile support, as well.
CT-gui is a touch-friendly GUI toolkit which can be used on the Linux desktop and on Android devices. Development can be done quickly and easily on a Linux box, then ported to an Android tablet or phone. For graphics, only OpenGL or OpenGL ES is used. For audio, ALSA is used for Linux and OpenSL ES for Android. As you might expect, the Android SDK and NDK should be installed on your system. Two demo projects called CT-synth and CT-farfisa are included, which are a polyphonic synthesizer with about 20 built-in patches, and an organ with many sounds. These can be played using the mouse or your fingers, or with an attached MIDI keyboard.
