Aciqra is a night sky simulator to show the sky and celestial objects. It uses the highly precise Aloac program to calculate highly accurate positions for planets, stars, comets, and everything else in the sky for thousands of years into the future. It can load a variety of catalogs and even custom ones with a bit of extension.
Astro Info is an astronomical ephemeris/almanac for PalmOS. Astro::Aladin is a an object-oriented interface into the resources provided by the CDS Aladin project. The Aladin Java application is driven in script mode using an anonymous pipe, while high level access to resources is provided by the module which disguises the mechanics of the data access.
Astro::DSS Module is an object orientated Perl module that provides an interface to both the first and second Digital Sky Surveys at the ESO-ECF online archive. While the first sky survey is 100% complete, the second survey covers 98% of the sky in Red, 45% of the sky in Blue, and 27% of the sky in Infra-red.
