HLA Adventure is an adventure game that was written in Randy Hyde's HLA language. It features Mippy, a cute dragon that lives happily in the forests and caves and often comes out during the later part of the day to eat leaves, smoulder decaying trees, and generally romp around like every good dragon should.
FECpp is a C++ library implementing a fast forward error correction code, sometimes also called an erasure code. These codes are used to split input data into a set of n shares, with the property that if any subset of at least k shares survives, the original data can be recovered by the decoder. The number of share losses the code will tolerate can be parameterized during encoding, allowing the code to be adapted to to a variety of loss scenarios. FECpp is bit-for-bit compatible with several other FEC libraries.
iPXE is a network boot firmware. It provides a full PXE implementation enhanced with additional features such as the ability to boot from a Web server using HTTP, and the ability to boot from a SAN using iSCSI, AoE, SRP, or FCoE. It supports a wide variety of network devices, including wireless and Infiniband networks. iPXE is an effective replacement for gPXE.
Exolu is a separation of the Linux kernel into two parts: an exokernel and a library. The exokernel consists only of the implementations for basic hardware resource access and drivers, but no abstractions. The library implements the abstractions and interfaces that are used by programs to interact with the kernel.
The ELF-Encrypter program suite is a collection of programs to encrypt ELF binaries using various algorithms, including the ones provided by GPG. One can choose a lot of methods to obtain the encryption key, such as hashing a list of PCI peripheals, MAC addresses of ethernet cards, file inode numbers, passphrases and passwords. The suite also contains programs to manipulate and inject plain or encrypted code into ELF binaries.
Minirighi is a multi-threading, Open Source operating system written for didactic purposes. It has been written from scratch and it is compatible with POSIX. The main feature of Minirighi is its light kernel, whose source code is easy for a person to read, unlike many other Open Source kernels.
