jumpstart is a performance hack for Linux/x86 that runs an application with shared libraries already loaded. The executable file is started, then stopped after the runtime loader has mapped the shared libraries, but before any application code has run. Then the process acts as a server, reading command line arguments and environment via a named pipe, and executing the task in a fork()ed child.

rtldi is an ELF program interpreter that makes it possible for executables to use their own ld-linux.so.2 and libc.so.6 and associated shared libraries, independent of the default versions installed in /lib and any other executable. It facilitates the simultaneous interoperation of programs that were originally linked using different generations of glibc6. In theory it should not be necessary, but in practice glibc6 has not always been backward compatible.

h2incn tries to directly convert C/C++ headers to Nasm-style include files, and can be used in a makefile. It is useful if you want to use the same structures or external variable declarations in C and assembler code, and you don't want to use two separate files and update both each time you change something. It is written in a mix of C and C++ code. It currently works for simple files.

crypt_blowfish is an efficient implementation of a modern password hashing algorithm, based on the Blowfish block cipher, provided via the crypt(3) and a reentrant interface. It is compatible with bcrypt as used in OpenBSD. It is adaptable to future processor performance improvements, allowing you to arbitrarily increase the processing cost of checking a password while still maintaining compatibility with your older password hashes. The hashes it produces are several orders of magnitude stronger than traditional Unix DES-based or FreeBSD-style MD5-based hashes.
