Spiderinabox provides an out-of-the-box solution for secure browsing on Mac systems. It includes a basic preconfigured installation of OpenBSD prepared as a VirtualBox image loaded with Firefox and a few scripts and programs to launch it and invoke Firefox over a secure connection. The visualization of Firefox is done on the OS X side using XQuartz, so you don't need to exit your working environment and switch between OS X and OpenBSD. Firefox runs encapsulated in OpenBSD and doesn't have access to OS X in any way.
MW is a low footprint embedded UI framework core intended for use on very limited systems. It embeds the JPEG, Freetype, and Cairo libraries, so it only depends on X. It should be fairly portable, as the only thing you need is to create a window on every platform and manage the events.
Visualization of Protein Ligand Graphs (VPLG) uses a graph-based model to describe the structure of proteins on the super-secondary structure level. A protein-ligand graph is computed from the atomic coordinates in a PDB file and the secondary structure assignments of the DSSP algorithm. In this graph, vertices represent secondary structure elements (SSEs, usually alpha helices and beta strands) or ligand molecules, while the edges model contacts and relative orientations between them. The graphs can be visualized, written to a database, and saved in a text-based file format.
Oracletool is an interactive, Web-based application for Oracle Database administration. The advantage of Oracletool over non-Web-based tools is that nothing needs to be installed on the client-side machine or in your databases. All you need to use Oracletool, once installed, is a Web browser.
