PEXESO Evolutionary Methods Library is the library of Evolutionary Optimization Methods for Real Domains. It is based on the original Object Oriented Algorithmic model that consists of the multi- operators technology (currently it supports 13 operator types) and "open policy" on the selection strategy (currently 4 selection strategy types). Using this method you have a possibility to compose your own optimization method using some combination of operators and selection strategies, or you can use one of 3 precomposed algorithms. It is provided with several examples and comprehensive HTML documentation.
AI::GA implements a (hopefully) generalized genetic algorithm. It does this by using an array of allowed tokens as individuals. The user has to provide a fitness function. There, the actual representation is implemented. If you have a string of chars, you can simply join them. If you want to have real numbers, you should probably use a bitwise representation and calculate the real values in your fitness function.
The OpenAI project is centered around the advancement of Artificial Intelligence. It is geared toward developing specifications for AI and a default implementation for a set of well-known AI tools. The genetic algorithm is written in Java and is built in a modular fashion so that new algorithms and evolution rules can be created.
OpenAI is a project which is centred around the advancement of Artificial Intelligence. The project itself is geared toward developing specifications for AI and a default implementation for a set of well known AI tools. This is OpenAI's Neural Network release. The software is written in Java and is built in a modular fashion so that new algorithms and learning rules can be created. Configuration and persistence will be done through XML and a CORBA interface is provided for applications that wish to incorporate the technology.
CLIPS is a productive development and delivery expert system tool which provides a complete environment for the construction of rule- and/or object-based expert systems. It is used by numerous users throughout the public and private community, including all NASA sites and branches of the military, numerous federal bureaus, government contractors, universities, and many companies.
Linguaphile is a simple command line language translator. It is open source, platform independent, and programmed in Perl. Linguaphile currently supports the following languages: Afrikaans, Alawa, Albanian, Arrernte, Basque, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Estonian, Finnish, French, Galician, German, Greek, Hawaiian, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Interlingua, Irish, Italian, Kala Lagaw Ya, Korean, Kriol, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Maltese, Maori, Norwegian, Pitjantjatjara, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Samoan, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Thai, Tok Pisin, Turkish, Ukrainian, Warlpiri, and Welsh. The Spanish to English translation is the most useful at this stage.
Traduki is a free machine translation system written in C/Lua. It works by creating an interlinguistic representation of text in Lua tables, the representation being somewhat modelled on the generative grammar of Noam Chomsky. Traduki aims to feature support for less common languages.
ImSafe (Immune Security For your Enterprise) is a host-based intrusion detection tool. After a learning phase, it is able to detect changes in processes behavior, to detect buffer overflows, etc. It is implemented through a device driver (as a kernel patch) for the Linux kernel, but can also be run on other UNIX systems by using a "sensor" built upon strace.
