SeSAm provides a generic environment for modelling and experimenting with agent-based simulation. As there are freely configurable instruments for gathering data and scripting options for constructing simulation experiments, SeSAm is a highly valuable tool for MAS simulations, especially for complex models with flexible agent behaviour and interactions.
The ATRACO Project is a prototype implementation of a trusted ambient ecology system that runs and manages activity spheres in an Ambient Intelligence Space. Activity spheres are realized by automatically discovering, selecting, and adapting smart devices (artefacts) existing in the space, according to user's preferences, customs, and activities. OWL ontologies are used for modeling user profile, devices, activities, and goal descriptions. Abstract plans are bound to specific devices, methods, and values through semantic matching.
Prolog Statistical Machine Translation is a fairly unsophisticated statistical machine translation program. It consists of a language model learner (which takes example sentences in the target language and learns a language model based on trigrams), a dictionary learner (which learns word-for-word translations), and a search program (which uses the data from the first two parts to translate a source sentence into the target language).
Logic Reasoner is a theorem prover for first-order logic with equality. The main objective leading the development of Logic Reasoner has been the creation of a flexible architecture: in particular, the program has been designed as a generic infrastructure for theorem proving, which forms the basis for a collection of specific proving techniques. These techniques can be easily combined or replaced to create configurations with different properties.
RelEx is an English-language semantic dependency relationship extractor, built on the Carnegie-Mellon Link Grammar parser. It can identify subject, object, indirect object, and many other syntactic dependency relationships between words in a sentence; it generates dependency trees, resembling those of dependency grammars, and specifically, those of Dekang Lin's MiniPar and the Stanford parser. It accomplishes this by applying a sequence of rules, based on the local context, and thus resembles constraint grammar in its implementation. In this sense, it implements some of the ideas of Hudson's Word Grammar. However, unlike other dependency parsers, RelEx attempts a greater degree of semantic normalization.
Egg-fu is a simulated Artificial Intelligence IRC script for Eggdrop much like infobot, but with many more options and features, high configurability, automatic learning and interaction, multi-language support, and two main modes: the default SAI mode, and a define-bot mode, as well as any cross-breed thereof via config.
Charlemagne is a versatile genetic programming application. It includes a commandline client and an interactive console mode. It is written in Python and Lisp, and is user extensible to some degree in both languages. It features built-in input-output mapping support and provides the ability to define complex fitness calculations in Lisp or Python.
