CellWriter is a grid-entry natural handwriting input panel. As you write characters into the cells, your writing is instantly recognized at the character level. When you press 'Enter' on the panel, the input you entered is sent to the currently focused application as if typed on the keyboard. Writer-dependent, CellWriter learns your handwriting for reliable recognition. Correcting preprocessor algorithms account for digitizer noise, differing stroke order, direction, and number of strokes. Unicode support enables you to write in any language.
HALoGEN is an extremely powerful and easy to use general-purpose natural language generation system. It consists of a symbolic generator, a forest ranker, and some sample inputs. The symbolic generator includes the Sensus Ontology dictionary based on WordNet. The forest ranker includes a 250 million word ngram language model (unigram, bigram, and trigram) trained on the Wall Street Journal newspaper text. The symbolic generator is written in LISP and requires a Lisp interpreter.
Red-Piranha is a search system that can actually learn what you are looking for. It can be used as a Web page, command line, or XML-WebService, so it will work with most languages, including Java, Perl, C#/.NET, and PHP. It includes learning abilities for the Desktop/Internet search functionality. All feedback from the user is stored in (editable) XML and RDF, and is used by the system to improve the quality of searches.
AIBash is a project which aims to make Bash act more intelligently. It features typing error-correction and the ability to learn that certain file suffixes are associated with certain programs so that other programs are filtered out while pressing TAB. Other features are planned for the future.
Grammar Browser provides a simple-to-use graphical interface to the grammatical structure and relations of any text, as parsed by the Stanford Parser. It contains a grammatical relation editor to modify, import, and export grammatical relation definitions (tregex patterns and features).
myBeasties is a highly flexible evolutionary programming module. It is designed to be extendable and customisable for maximum use by the Perl developer. Many species of genotypes can be evolved, and these can be used to build phenotypes of any size or complexity. These can be as simple as a list or as large as a whole class of objects.
