a2b is an abstract train game where you guide trains to their destination without letting them collide with each other. Each game is played on a set of tracks on which trains run at regular intervals. You pick a train and accelerate, brake, or stop as necessary to safely guide it to its destination. Since trains are continously being launched, more than 1 train will want to use the same section of a track, potentially leading to a collision. You must resolve this by making a train wait while you rush another train. As a last resort, you can send a train back to its base.
Don Ceferino Hazaña is a game similar to Super Pang. You are attacked by little green balls which are bouncing around and which you have to kill with your knife. Your knife, however, is limited to being thrown upwards, so you have to get under the balls to kill them. Even worse, if you "kill" a large ball, it doesn't just vanish, but breaks apart into two smaller balls. Levels consist of little platforms connected by ladders, so you can go up and down or find cover if needed.
Bomns for Linux is a fast-paced multiplayer deathmatch arcade game. Its gameplay is best described as "old-school," as it is based on the popular text-based Bomns franchise. It has several modern conveniences, however, such as a level editor and GTK2 configuration tool. Despite the name, Bomns for Linux is quite portable and can easily be built on nearly any platform.
