With MetaModel, you use a type-safe SQL-like API for querying any datastore. It is a data access framework providing a common interface for exploration and querying of different types of datastores. It isn't a data mapping framework. Instead, it emphasizes abstraction of metadata and the ability to add data sources at runtime, making MetaModel great for generic data processing applications, but less so for applications modeled around a particular domain.

BOND (building object network databases) is database development framework for rapidly creating applications. It creates live forms for the Web with AJAX and desktop applications using GTK. Using XML to define widget layouts, it drives the live forms to which SQL statements and methods can be attached.

APIs available are cluster membership, application failover, checkpointing, eventing, distributed locking, messaging, closed process groups, and extended virtual synchrony passthrough. It is possible to write redundant applications that tolerate hardware, operating system, and application faults. Cluster software developers can write plugins to use the infrastructure provided by OpenAIS.

Using OpenMap components, you can access data from legacy applications, in-place, in a distributed setting. At its core, OpenMap is a set of Swing components that understand geographic coordinates. These components help you show map data, and help you handle user input events to manipulate that data.
Marauroa is a multiplayer online game framework server. It uses a multithreaded server architecture with a TCP oriented network protocol, a MySQL based persistence engine, and a flexible game system.
