Qt is a comprehensive, object-oriented development framework that enables development of high-performance, cross-platform rich-client and server-side applications. When you implement a program with Qt, you can run it on the X Window System (Unix/X11), Apple Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows NT/9x/2000/XP by simply compiling the source code for the platform you want. Qt is the basis for the KDE desktop environment, and is also used in numerous commercial applications such as Google Earth, Skype for Linux, and Adobe Photoshop Elements.
The Yana Framework is a platform for developing PHP applications. It can be expanded with your own plugins (components). It includes skin and template support, multiple languages (German and English by default), mature administration functionality, multiple installation profiles, user login and administration, a database API based on PEAR-DB that also offers database schema support, and a GUI/code generator for your own plugins. It also includes an easy to use query tool that automatically maps database commands to a flat file if no database support is available. Plugins provided with this software are a guestbook, an RSS to HTML converter, and a search engine. Complete documentation is included.
WACS is a tool for building adult Web sites. It is equally suitable for managing a private collection or building a commercial site. WACS has many best of breed features, including dynamic filtering, model catalogs, random sampling, galleries, automatic download, and a powerful search engine. WACS contains both a full ready-to-run Web environment and an extensive programming API implemented in both Perl and PHP.
Blackbird is the first enterprise service bus (ESB) for PHP developers. It provides a range of services, including managing configuration data, connections to message queues, databases, and other applications, and many more features. This makes it possible to very rapidly develop message-based applications and/or integration layers.
TurtolCMS is a powerful, flexible Web content management system. With it, you can manage every aspect of your Web content directly from your Web browser with intuitive editing tools. TurtolCMS does not restrict you with a template, but allows a designer full freedom to build any desired look and then gracefully re-use that design consistently for any new content that is added.
The adventure PHP framework (APF) is a utility to implement object oriented and generic PHP Web applications. It allows the developer to create programs in compliance with approved software design patterns, and the code base already has answers to many everyday problems. The framework cannot be described as an application that only has to be configured, but rather as a technical basis and design guide for the design of software. Further, it introduced many concepts and efficiency tools already well known in the Java community.
Green Dome GNUstepWeb for Mac OS X provides a WebObjects 4.5-like environment for Mac OS X (with some support for WO5 additions). It is composed of modified versions of the standard GNUstepBaseAdditions, GDL2, and GNUstepWeb frameworks, built to run on top of Apple's Cocoa frameworks. The GNUstep frameworks have been built with Xcode as true Mac OS X frameworks. Thus, they may be used as any other framework under Mac OS X. Note that this is a standalone package that does not require or interoperate with a separate GNUstep installation/environment. It is not intended to provide a complete GNUstep environment, such as would be expected of a full GNUstep installation.
The Psychosynth project aims to create an interactive, modular soft-synth inspired by the ideas of the Reactable. It provides a clean object oriented API to allow the creation of new innovative interfaces for the synthesizer and a 3D simulator of a Reactable-alike device with support for collaborative music creation over the network.
