WeOCR is a platform for Web-enabled OCR (Optical Character Reader/Recognition) systems. It enables people to use character recognition over networks. A WeOCR server receives document images from users, recognizes text in the images, and returns recognition results to the users. WeOCR does not have its own character recognition engine. Instead, it is intended to accommodate various existing character recognition engines.
mod_asn is an Apache module that uses BGP routing data to look up the autonomous system (AS) and the network prefix (subnet) which contains a given (client's) IP address. mod_asn is highly scalable. To do lookups in high-speed, it uses the PostgreSQL ip4r datatype, which is indexable with a Patricia Trie algorithm to store network prefixes. This is the most suitable algorithm, being able to search through around 250,000 existing prefixes quickly. mod_asn is usable as a standalone module, and the lookup result can be used by scripts or other Apache modules. For instance, a download redirector could base its decisions on the lookup result provided by mod_asn.
Vibur DBCP is a concurrent, fast, and fully-featured JDBC connection pool based on Java dynamic proxies. It supports a fairness parameter, statement caching, Hibernate integration, and SQL queries logging, among other features. Various configuration examples (with Spring, Hibernate, etc.) are provided.
OpenEJB is a simple, lightweight Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) container and server. You can embed OpenEJB in your own applications, or in a Web application server like Tomcat, or run it as a standalone EJB server. It supports EJB 3.0, 2.1, 2.0, and 1.1, and has partial support for EJB 3.1.
Vibur Object Pool is a general-use concurrent Java object pool which provides both validating and non-validating pool implementations. The pool is built entirely using the standard Java concurrency utilities, does not use any synchronized blocks/methods, and does not have any external dependencies. This pool is an excellent choice for pooling/caching of expensive to create Java objects such as database connections or other socket connections to remote hosts, and similar.
repositor.io is a tool for creating and managing Linux repositories. It can mirror online repositories so that you don't need to download packages every time you set up a new server, and it makes it easy to create custom repositories for your own packages. With the integration of a configuration management tool, you can create consistent installations on your servers.
WebVirtMgr is a libvirt-based Web interface for managing virtual machines. It allows you to create and configure new domains, and adjust a domain's resource allocation. A VNC viewer over a SSH tunnel presents a full graphical console to the guest domain. KVM is currently the only hypervisor supported.
