novi is a tool for finding the latest-version RPMs in a tree. It can be used to create Kickstart trees or yum repositories that contain the updated RPMS. In the case of Kickstart, this means machines come to life with the updates already applied. Using novi for a yum repository trims the size of the repodata files, which reduces client download and processing time.
cintoo Messages is a framework to make internationalization easier for Java applications. It supports locales for threads, and bundles can be associated with different packages. This allows the usage of different bundles for different parts of the application, such as plugins, an installer, or a logging system. Bundles can be managed and associated with packages without any changes in the code. This makes bundle management and refactoring much easier than with other solutions. cintoo Messages supports global locales for client applications written in Swing or SWT and thread-local ones for serverside Web applications.
The Spring Rich Client Project (RCP) is a sub-project of the Spring Framework. This leaves the programmer free to handle the important stuff: where to find data (DNs and Filters) and what do do with it (map to and from domain objects, bind, modify, unbind, etc.).
mod_athena is an Apache-based application load balancer for large systems. It allows the HTTP server to act as a load balancer either internally to Apache's own mod_proxy (for reverse proxying), or externally to machines querying it. Arbitrary statistics are sent to the engine via a simple GET plus query-string interface, from which it will then make decisions based on chosen algorithms.
