SCAN is a personal information retrieval framework, combining search, text analysis, tagging, and metadata functions for document collections management. SCAN is a component-based software using a number of plugins for specific features. The basic SCAN platform can be easily extended with plugins for different document formats and document location types.
SCMS is an MVC based secure content management system. It is designed from the ground up to withstand common Web application vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, session fixation/hijacking, and many others. It is designed for PHP 5.0-5.2.x and MySQL 4.1+, and it can optionally support PostgreSQL as a database backend.
The Google Serial Graphics Adapter BIOS, or SGABIOS, provides a means for legacy x86 software to communicate with an attached serial console as if a video card were attached. It is designed to be inserted into a BIOS as an option ROM to provide over a serial port the display and input capabilities normally handled by a VGA adapter and a keyboard, and additionally provide hooks for logging displayed characters for later collection after an operating system boots. It is designed to handle all text mode output sent to the legacy video BIOS int 10h service routine. Int 10h is the most common method for displaying characters in 16-bit legacy x86 code.
SIOX4Java (Simple Interactive Object Extraction) is a Java SDK that provides a generic segmentation engine for extracting the foreground from still images with little user interaction. The underlying method (which has also been integrated into GIMP) is noise and motion blur robust and can easily be adapted for the segmentation of objects in videos. The SDK also contains an experimental feature called the "Detail Refinement Brush", which enables the removal of spill colors and manual refinement of highly detailed textures.
SNAP Platform is a development toolkit that packages into an easy to install solution the the Jikes Java compiler, the SableVM Java-like virtual machine and the GNU Classpath Java-like API, and the Eclipse universal tools platform, plus sample programs with source code and developer documentation.
SPT JCR Manager is a simple Web application used to view and manage Java Content Repositories. The application supports viewing the contents of a repository through a tree view, or through querying (XPath, SQL) or searching the entire repository. It supports CRUD operations on Nodes and properties (all standard types mandated by the specifications are supported).
The SPT Relational Database Web Tool (RWT) is a simple application that can help developers connect to databases configured as a DataSource in the application server or directly through JDBC. The RWT application attempts to replicate basic features found in the popular Aqua Data Studio application. Per user settings (saved connection parameters, saved queries), single and batch query processing, a history browser, multiple query browsers, a tree view of database metadata, and other features are supported. Full source code is available.
SPindent (Server Page Indenter) is a JSP/PHP structural validator and indenter. It performs structural compatibility check of inner HTML generated from "parallel" branches of process flow statements such as if/else. It allows for those HTML branches to have different entry and exit HTML stack points, as far as the branches are compatible. This allows for verification and proper indentation of handy workarounds, as well as rusty pyramids. It is based on MixedCC (Mixed Compiler Compiler).
