The OpenUDDI project is focused on creating a high performance, easy to use UDDI v3 compliant server and client library. The server and client is built using Java, version 5 for the server and version 1.4 for the client. The server uses Hibernate, and supports a wide variety of SQL databases for data storage.
Sonatype GWT REST is a "generic" (low-level) fully-compliant (real) REST async client for GWT that avoids "native" GWT RPC completely. It adds "generic" capability to drive any JSON, XML, or plain text-enabled REST Service from GWT client applications. Sonatype Nexus is powered by the restlet.org REST Framework, so this client is usable with all REST services which are backed by the restlet.org Java framework or implement real REST.
House Of Mirrors (HoM) is a logic game inspired by Chromatron (from Silver SpaceShip Software). The game consists of a 2D grid in which several types of objects are found, including detectors and mirrors. The goal is simple: light up all the detectors using emitted or reflected rays of light. Usually, you can move and rotate the mirrors but not the detectors. In each level, the choice of available objects is limited. There can be more than one solution for each level. Levels can be created by users in hand-editable XML format and shared with others.
jmemcached is a fast network available cache daemon. It is protocol-compatible with memcached, but written in Java and suitable for applications with portability concerns, where Java is the preferred solution, or for using the memcached protocol in embedded applications with alternate storage engines. Existing clients for memcache work unmodified. It can run as a standalone daemon or be embedded inside an existing Java application.
Shibboleth is a standards-based middleware software package providing Web single-sign-on across or within organizational boundaries. It implements standards such as OASIS' SAML to provide a federated single-sign-on and attribute exchange framework. It also provides extended privacy functionality, allowing the browser user and their home site to control the attributes released to each application.
Location Source is an implementation of Java's Location API (JSR-179). It is intended to give Java applications access to location data on platforms that do not have a JSR-179 implementation of their own. It currently only runs on Windows Mobile using IBM's WebSphere Everyplace Micro Edition (WEME) 6.1.1 bu can easily be extended to run on other platforms. For example, you could use it on any laptop by tying it into SkyHook's Loci API.
JRel is a library for the Java language that can be used to construct database queries in a programmatic fashion using a subset of the relational algebra. These queries are expressions in the form of 100% native Java code, and are translated at runtime into compliant ANSI-SQL usable with a variety of SQL databases.
