The Message Multiplexer (MMX) application will get a message from a WebSphere MQ queue and output it to one or more queues. Context information is maintained across the message put(s). MMX can move messages from a single source queue to (up to) 99 target queues. Messages put to each target queue are an exact replicate of the original message from the source queue (including the message's MQMD). MMX performs each MQGET and the subsequent "n" MQPUT(s) under a Unit of Work (UOW), so that message integrity is kept.
jSlovo is a fast database engine with a GUI that was designed for free dictionaries. It can create a file-based database from a text file and then be used to search it for particular words. It can scan any large number of file-based databases and the size of the databases is not limited. HTML tags can be used in the text files and for cross-references.
The SPT Relational Database Web Tool (RWT) is a simple application that can help developers connect to databases configured as a DataSource in the application server or directly through JDBC. The RWT application attempts to replicate basic features found in the popular Aqua Data Studio application. Per user settings (saved connection parameters, saved queries), single and batch query processing, a history browser, multiple query browsers, a tree view of database metadata, and other features are supported. Full source code is available.
Apollo is an open-source developer test skeleton toolkit for Java Web Start/JNLP. It lets you turbo-charge Web Start apps without Web Start to speed up your compile/run/test/debug/goof-off cycle, avoiding the hassle of stuffing, signing, uploading, or downloading your jars every time you rearrange a comma in your source code.
Skwish is a fast, simple, lightweight Java library for storing blobs on the file system. It allows multiple concurrent readers and writers, provides all-or-nothing write semantics, and is designed to survive abnormal, unclean shutdown. Skwish is a structured implementation of storing all blobs in a single file to save on file system I/O. Skwish is premised on the proposition that blob storage ought to be orthogonal to the task of indexing. It is meant to be a clean and simple store on which some other index can be built.
managelogs is a log processing program to be used in conjunction with Apache's piped logfile feature. It is an alternative to the well known rotatelogs and cronolog programs. Its primary purpose is to solve the "log filesystem full" issue by purging the oldest log files when the total log size exceeds a given value. It can also write compressed files, maintain symbolic links to the current and archive log files, and setuid to a given user. It maintains its state across Apache restarts, and allows writing to several output channels, each one having its own configuration.
