The Middleman System (mdm) is a set of utilities that help you parallelize your shell scripts. Its design is based on ideas from superscalar computer processors: it fetches commands as your script is running, detects potential interference between commands on the fly, and issues commands for execution in parallel as appropriate.
Spring Batch Advanced Launcher (SBAL) is a tool based on Spring Batch. It allows launching batches from the command line. A set of advanced functionality is provided to allow enterprise deployment as an alternative to the CommandLineJobRunner. it provides advanced features like displaying the batch version, running resource validations, and configuring logging. It also defines a standard directory structure for deployments.
lib4d_sql is a C library that provides the required functions (connect, prepare, execute, etc.) for writing an SQL client for 4D databases. It uses the public 4D SQL protocol, which is supported by 4D products since version 11. It is already used by the PDO_4D Open Source project, and it might be used to provide others drivers for JDBC, ADO, or ActiveRecord.
ChandlerQE is an application for the Android platform that allows you to send notes to your collections on Chandler Hub. Chandler is the note-to-self organizer created by Open Source Applications Foundation (OSAF) and was inspired by the Getting Things Done philosophy by David Allen.
When writing anything that needs to communicate with a terminal in some way, it is almost always speaking some dialect of VT100 or ANSI. The libvt 100 library aims solely at parsing a stream of VT100/ANSI data and then letting the host application do the rendering. Many other projects also parse VT100/ANSI data, but their parser is always tangled up with the actual rendering of the data, making reuse in other projects problematic. The hope is that other projects will start using libvt100 and everyone can stop reinventing the wheel with each project.
RelEx is an English-language semantic dependency relationship extractor, built on the Carnegie-Mellon Link Grammar parser. It can identify subject, object, indirect object, and many other syntactic dependency relationships between words in a sentence; it generates dependency trees, resembling those of dependency grammars, and specifically, those of Dekang Lin's MiniPar and the Stanford parser. It accomplishes this by applying a sequence of rules, based on the local context, and thus resembles constraint grammar in its implementation. In this sense, it implements some of the ideas of Hudson's Word Grammar. However, unlike other dependency parsers, RelEx attempts a greater degree of semantic normalization.
