Tapestry is a rich, component-based object model for developing dynamic, robust, highly interactive Web applications. Applications are constructed in terms of Java objects, methods and properties, instead of URLs and query parameters. Luxor is an open-source XML User Interface Language (XUL) toolkit in Java that lets you build UIs using XML and also includes an ultra light-weight, multi-threaded Web server, a portal engine, and a template engine. It is also Web Start-ready, as everything fits in a jar and requires no loose files.
DOM Tooltip allows developers to add customized tooltips to Web pages. The tooltips are controlled through style class definitions and respond to events such as "mouseover", and avoids possible collisions with form elements such as select boxes and screen edges. While originally designed to create context tooltips, it is also possible to create a wide variety of dynamic layers, such as embedded windows, context menus, and hidden blocks. Additional features include sticky tips, tooltip fading, lifetime, relative positioning, class assignments, width adjustments, mouse dragging, captions, directionality, offset adjustments, adjustable activate/deactivate delay times, snapping to grid, fate adjustment (hide or destroy), and references to created tips. Cypress is an open-source Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) parser that lets you add well-documented, standardized name/value pairs (a.k.a. CSS style properties) to your own XML markup languages. It supports inline styles so you can add style properties to individual XML tags using the style attribute or external style sheets so that you can store style rules for reuse in separate, XML-free text documents. Cypress supports three forms of selectors to match your XML tags and style rules, that is, element selectors, class selectors, and id selectors.
Roundhouse is a modular J2EE application platform that allows applications to combine Struts modules, JSR-168 portlets, and Web services into a single application. It is intended to take the drudgery out of new J2EE application development by providing existing user and security architecture, navigation, and logging although it can be used standalone with no additional development. It ships with forum and blog modules along with several handy portlets which essentially make it a a portal based blog and forums application. The architecture is Struts-based and includes a Struts-based JSR-168 Portlet container. Developers extend Roundhouse by creating new standalone modules which can be independently developed without mucking around in the Roundhouse codebase and merged with Roundhouse and any number of other modules at build time. Modules can be created, packaged as MARF files, and redistributed.
Apache Rivet is a system for creating dynamic Web content via a programming language integrated with Apache Web Server. It is designed to be fast, powerful and extensible, consume few system resources, be easy to learn, and to provide the user with a platform that can also be used for other programming tasks outside the web (GUIs, system administration tasks, text processing, database manipulation, XML, etc.). It is similar to PHP, except that it uses Tcl, and provides both HTML/Tcl pages as well as pure Tcl pages to aid the programmer in separating logic and presentation when necessary.

Webcockpit is a Web application generator for reporting and monitoring applications. It generates complete JSP-based Web applications which contain charts and tables whose contents are retrieved using database queries. The charts and tables can be configured to link to each other, enabling master detail-like drill-down. You can provide your own HTML or JSP template files which are mixed with the generated JSP to provide a final Web application.
