Oddjob is a Java job scheduler and task automation framework. A GUI designer or XML are used to define a hierarchy of jobs. Sequential, parallel, and conditional execution (or combinations) allow for nearly any business process to be modelled. Oddjob can run on the desktop or on a server and uses JMX to control remote instances via an Explorer-style GUI. Basic Web-based monitoring is also available. It can be embedded in client code and is easily extensible via a simple API.
CrossFTP Server is a professional FTP server for multiple platforms. It offers a high-performance, easily configurable, and, most of all, secure-enabled FTP server. Its main advantage is that it is very easy to get started by novice users, and meets advanced users' requirements as well. It supports user virtual directories, write permissions, idle time-out, and upload/download bandwidth limitations. You can monitor all user activities. Both upload and download files are resumable. A database and LDAP can be used to store user data. "MODE Z" is supported for faster transfers.
Dove is an application that facilitates the distribution of documents to a variety of destination types such as email, local files, FTP, FTPS, SFTP, TFTP, Samba servers, Windows network shared drives, and WebDAV servers. Being an abstraction layer over previously enumerated protocols, it allows sending of documents to email or to a WebDAV server with equal ease.
Universal File Mover (UFM) manages the transfer of files. The user combines a series of Action commands to create the UFM Workflow XML file. These Action commands define which actions are to be taken, the order of the actions, and how errors are to be handled. UFM processes the Action commands as per the UFM Workflow XML file. UFM currently contains 41 Action commands. These action commands fall into five categories: WebSphere MQ Actions, Network Actions, File Actions, Control Actions, and Other Actions. UFM can transfer files in one of five ways, using WebSphere MQ, FTP, SFTP, SCP, or HTTP.
mod_ftpd is an FTP server module for Apache using the authentication system in Apache to provide anonymous or user-based FTP. Alternate chroot directories for users can be provided via a plugin system to check different data sources for the information. Currently a DBM and libdbi plugin are included. Limiting the number of users that can log into the system is also provided via a plugin system, so new limiting algorithms can be easily added in. Currently only a base limiter is provided which sets an overall cap to the each virtual server.
