stupid-xml is a ridiculously simple annotation-based XML stream parser for Java. The main goal of this project is to get the strings you care about out of XML and into Java as quickly as possible. You define a simple model class, specify the relative paths for its fields, and it will start generating instances for you from an XML stream. The functionality is limited. It will only parse Strings into your model, but this keeps everything extremely simple. Once you have the Strings in your model, you can perform filtering or more complex conversions.

TIXI is a fast and simple XML interface library for applications written in C, C++, Fortran, Java, and Python. Although simplified and somewhat restricted compared to a fully-fledged XML processing library, it can create documents, create and delete nodes, and add and remove element attributes. Routines for reading and writing text nodes and nodes holding integer and floating point numbers are included, along with routines that process aggregates of these simple types for the processing of geometric data, multidimensional arrays, or arrays of vectors.

Raptor is a C library providing a set of parsers and serializers for Resource Description Framework (RDF) triples by parsing syntaxes into RDF triples and serializing triples into a syntax. The parsers support RDF/XML, N-Triples, GRDDL, and Turtle, and via RSS tag soup: XML RSS, Atom 0.3, and Atom 1.0. The serializers support RDF/XML (3 flavours), Turtle, DOT, N-Triples, RSS 1.0, and Atom 1.0. Raptor handles RDF/XML as used by RDF applications such as RSS 1.0, FOAF, DOAP, Dublin Core, and OWL. It can use either expat or libxml2 for XML parsing, libcurl when available for URI retrieval, and is portable to many POSIX systems.
