OpenVPS is a set of software built on top of the Linux VServer aimed specifically at Web Hosting. It is not another set of kernel patches, but a set of scripts to create virtual servers, collect resource utilization information, and provide an interface to the customer as well as the administrator.
The Darwin Calendar Server is a standards-compliant server that allows multiple users to collaboratively share calendaring information. It provides a shared location on the network to store schedules, and allows users to send each other and manage invitations. In order to provide interoperability with multiple calendaring clients, the server implements the CalDAV protocol, which is an extension of WebDAV, which is in turn an extension of HTTP.
Conary is a distributed software management system for Linux distributions. It replaces traditional package management solutions (such as RPM and dpkg) with one designed to enable loose collaboration across the Internet. It enables sets of distributed and loosely connected repositories to define the components which are installed on a Linux system. Rather than having a full distribution come from a single vendor, it allows administrators and developers to branch a distribution, keeping the pieces which fit their environment while grabbing components from other repositories across the Internet.
Google Apps Improved Login (GAIL) provides Google Apps administrators with two oft-requested features: the ability to customize the login page and the ability to log in as their users. GAIL is designed to run on Google's App Engine so that administrators do not need to have their own Web server. GAIL works by making use of the SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) Service for Google Apps. Premier and Education Editions of Google Apps are supported. Standard Edition is not.
Google Apps Manager (GAM) is a command line tool that allows Administrators to control their Google Apps domain and accounts. With GAM you can create users, turn on/off services for users like POP and Forwarding and much more. It requires Google Apps Education or Premier Edition. Standard Edition is not supported. Future plans for GAM include even more management capabilities as well as a graphical and Web-based interface.
CCI:U Open Course Labs is a Django-based Web application that interfaces cloud-computing infrastructure such as Amazon EC2 and NexR iCube Cloud. More backends may be added. It provides the access to cloud infrastructure in the form of "course labs" where course staff in an academy can manage the allocated computing resources and assignments easily. Course labs can also be used as course homepages.
treap.py is a treap implementation for Python. A treap is a hybrid of a binary tree and a binary heap that is self-balancing and is O(nlog2(n)) for most operations, including deleting a value, inserting a value, finding the least value, and finding the greatest value. This particular treap implementation looks like a dictionary to the caller, but it also supports getting an ordered list (forward or reverse) in O(n) time. The code is available as pure Python (should run on about any Python implementation supporting generators, but was tested on CPython 2.6) or as part Python and part Cython for performance. The version with Cython should run on CPython or Unladen Swallow, but was only tested on CPython 2.6.
