RCSSmin is a CSS minifier. The implementation is based on the semantics of the YUI compressor, but aiming for speed instead of maximum compression so that it can be used at runtime rather than during a preprocessing step. rCSSmin does syntactical compression only (removing spaces, comments, and possibly semicolons). It does not provide semantic compression (like removing empty blocks, collapsing redundant properties etc). It does, however, support various CSS hacks (by keeping them working as intended).
The Middleman System (mdm) is a set of utilities that help you parallelize your shell scripts. Its design is based on ideas from superscalar computer processors: it fetches commands as your script is running, detects potential interference between commands on the fly, and issues commands for execution in parallel as appropriate.
SysScope is a graphing solution that facilitates the visual representation of RRDtool's Round Robin Databases (RRD). It retrieves the graph options from an Apache-style configuration file and, after making the necessary calls to rrdgraph, it generates static or dynamic HTML pages containing the graphs. The following backends are supported for the generation of the dynamic pages: CGI, FastCGI, mod_python, and WSGI.
ScenePainter is a program for creating comics by (re-)arranging prefabricated graphic elements, taken from a media library. It can also be used as a developer tool for programmers and artists that are building games using threering's nenya library. Currently, ScenePainter does not ship with resourcefiles of its own, but is able to extract graphics from the games "Puzzle Pirates" and "Bang Howdy" by three rings design, inc. These graphics however, are copyrigthed materials and require permission to be used (e.g. for creating fan art).
Jailer is a database subsetting and browsing tool. It is a tool for data exporting, schema browsing, and rendering. It exports consistent, referentially intact row-sets from relational databases. It removes obsolete data without violating integrity. It is DBMS agnostic (by using JDBC), platform independent, and generates DbUnit datasets, hierarchically structured XML, and topologically sorted SQL-DML.
BitNami Tracks Stack is an all-in-one cross-platform installer for Tracks, a Web-based application to help you implement David Allen's Getting Things Done methodology. It installs Tracks, Ruby On Rails, and everything else necessary to have a running program in minutes. It works on Windows, Linux, and OS X.
BART Tracker reports on arriving San Francisco area BART trains in real time, using a system tray icon. It uses BART's new "Estimated Arrivals" or "BART System Status" feature, which reports on the current up-to-the-minute status of arriving trains at every BART station. It requires Java 6.
Clipboard Modifier is a flexible system to modify the text in a clipboard in a variety of ways. It can copy a spreadsheet and change the clipboard so that it can be pasted into a wiki, with vertical bars (|) instead of tabs. It can modify multi-line clipboard text so that it can be pasted into Java or Python as strings. An URL in the clipboard pointing to Amazon can be modified so that it has your Associate ID in it. It can pipe the clipboard to a shell command and retrieve the output from it. A clibpboard can be forced to text, removing things like formatting. A complicated URL can be converted into its Python equivalent, using urlencode.
A powerful and pretty desktop environment for Linux and Unix-like systems.
