EPIC is a multiplayer strategy roleplaying game in which you are pitted against or work with real people in various fantasy settings called modules. It starts with Conan and Malazan modules. Third parties can create new modules. The system supports adventures, armies, characters, assassins, guilds/buildings, very rich magic (over 400 spells) and over 2,000 items, in a realistic fantasy world . The game focuses on minimum game time but the maximum amount of time thinking about the game and your cunning plans with your allies. There's no farming or repetition. The game format encourages the creation of epic fantasy tales. Part of a player's turn is in real time, but movement and military orders are done as submitted orders which are processed as your turn.
The goal of Funani is to solve the management of large image and other media collections in a practical way. To help you find the data you want in big data collections, this software allows you to sort it in many different ways. Advanced queries on dates, locations, events, or people, or more generically categories and tags, allow you to narrow the search quickly. Funani can be thought of primarily as a safe. Every file put into the system remains in the system. It is an additive system, which makes unintended deletion impossible. A maintenance mode can still remove unwanted files, but standard users cannot perform this operation. Funani is also a framework designed for extensibility. When new features are requested, they can be implemented by adding new functionality and leaving the existing system alone. Each feature is completely isolated from others as long as it does not depend on them.
x11vis is a visual and interactive tool for debugging X11 clients. Unlike other tools such as xtrace, it displays human readable IDs on all requests, no matter at which point in time the information becomes available. To help you cope with large amounts of data, it displays only the most important information by default, automatically folds sequences of boring requests, allows you to filter by packet type or client, and provides markers for navigation. Instead of assigning a number to each connection, it displays the command line with which that client was started.
Ductus is a wiki system designed to handle arbitrarily-structured content and a variety of workflows. With Ductus, programmers can easily define classes of structured content, providing rich mechanisms for user interaction. For instance, the Wikiotics project uses Ductus to allow people to collaborate on "language lessons," which can later be used as quizzes or flashcards. Such modes of interaction are not possible with most wikis, which are designed primarily to handle freely-structured text.
