GT Subset allows you to quickly and easily create subset databases for system testing and application development. It is a GUI utility that allows you to define any relationships required to subset data, as well as use existing database constraints. Selection criteria can be added at any level and can be changed at run time. Use it during system testing to build a smaller test database, to save disk space by reducing the amount of cloned data, to partition data in organizations, or to archive old data to history databases.
Moab Grid Suite is a professional grid workload management solution that integrates scheduling, management, monitoring, and reporting of workloads across independent clusters. Moab makes moving to a grid easy by adding grid-optimized job submission and management in a matter of minutes. Moab optimizes data staging and seamlessly integrates with existing security mechanisms or with grid security tool kits such as Globus. It gives sites extensive control over ownership-based access, priority, and service levels. It provides fine-tuned control over the workload and resources to make the grid usable.
Visual Performance Analyzer (VPA) is an Eclipse-based performance visualization toolkit, similar to Intel's VTune and AMD's CodeAnalyst. It is for the Linux, Java, and Windows platforms. It uses three major components that work to narrow down performance problems, show statistics, and examine code execution on IBM POWER processors.
AFD is a program to automatically distribute files either locally or to remote hosts. The files are distributed by using FTP or SMTP, and can be sent in parallel and with priority. It provides a GUI to monitor and control the distribution and extensive logging of all activities.
The WisdomForce FastReader is a high-performance data transfer and migration product which enables transportation of data across multiple platforms in heterogeneous environments and significantly improves data accessibility. FastReader can unload and extract Oracle tables of any size into portable flat text files (or into a pipe) without compromising the performance of production database systems. The user can easily configure the output data format.
syslog-ng is a syslogd replacement for a wide variety of UNIX systems that supports IPv6 and is capable of transferring log messages reliably using TCP and SSL and filtering the content of messages using regular expressions. Both RFC3164 and RFC5424 style messages are handled, but more esoteric formats like BSD process accounting logs are supported too. Apart from regular text files, it supports storing messages into SQL and MongoDB databases, and forward messages to local processes via pipes or UNIX domain sockets. This makes syslog-ng ideal as an integration platform. syslog-ng supports extracting structured information from the traditionally text based syslog via csv-parser(), db-parser(), and patterndb. Tag based classification, rewriting messages, and outputting messages in JSON is also possible. This makes syslog-ng ideal for preprocessing events for further analysis, be that home-grown scripts or SIEM systems. syslog-ng scales well on today's multi processor and multi-core systems: reaching 1,000,000 messages per second is a reality for the simplest use cases.
PINY_MD is a multipurpose, object-oriented molecular simulation package. PINY_MD is capable of performing a wide variety of molecular dynamics, electronic structure, and geometry optimization calculations. Such capabilities include force-field based ("classical") simulations on system ranging in complexity from simple molecular liquids (e.g., water, ammonia, liquid alkanes) and crystals (e.g., ice) to large biomolecular systems such as the HIV-1 protease in solution.
