vines draws vines (wandering plants made up mostly of stems and leaves) on your X11 or SunView screen. By default it draws in black and white, but color options (spring and fall) are provided. The vines can grow across the top of your screen and down the side, down from the top of your screen until they reach the bottom, or start from the center and wander all over the screen forever.

white_dune is a graphical VRML97/X3DV editor, simple NURBS/Superformula 3D modeller, animation tool, and VRML97/X3DV commandline compiler in development. VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web via browser plugins ("HTML for realtime 3D"). X3DV is the direct successor of VRML97. VRML97 and X3DV have support for animation, real-time interaction, and multimedia (images, movies, and sounds). white_dune can read, create, and display VRML97/X3DV files and let the user change the scenegraph/fields. It also has support for stereoscopic view via "quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.

Xnetintf is an X Windows application that manages network interfaces. The current interface state is depicted through a series of bitmaps, and a mouse click in the window initiates a state transition. Xnetintf uses a per-interface configuration file to supply commands that check and toggle state, as well as a program to run after the state change completes. xps dynamically displays in an X Window the Unix processes as a tree or forest, the roots on the left and the leaf processes on the right. The status of each process (running, sleeping, stopped, etc.) can be indicated by a color. Different users appear as different colors. Process selection can be made per user, all users or through a regular expression pattern. A process can be selected to show ps information or to send the process a signal.

yuck is a command line option parser for C that works on a minimal set of dependencies - only a C compiler and the m4 macro processor are required. It supports all the standard use cases: GNU-style long options (--option), condensable short options (-xab for -x -a -b), and optional arguments to long and short options (--foo[=BAR]), multiple occurrence of options (-vvv). Most importantly, it does not depend on libc's getopt() nor getopt_long().
