iLAP (Laboratory data management, Analysis, and Protocol development) is a workflow-driven information management system specifically designed to create and manage experimental protocols and to analyze and share laboratory data. The system combines experimental protocol development, wizard-based data acquisition, and high-throughput data analysis into a single, integrated system.
Python Packager is a Web application that converts Python source code into stand-alone applications for Windows and Linux. Python Packager creates a portable exe, a portable directory, and an installer for Microsoft Windows. Python Packager also creates portable files, portable directories, and DEB and RPM pacakges for Linux. Other features include analysis of the source code using linting tools, adding licensing terms to the code, and automatic generation of documentation. Python Packager is similar to tools such as Py2Exe, PyInstaller, cx_Freeze, and bbFreeze. Python Packager simply uses existing tools "under the hood". It does not claim to add any extra features which can be achieved with existing tools. It builds Python executables on Linux and Windows using PyInstaller (much like Py2Exe). It also uses PyLint to analyse the source code. It documents code with epydoc.
LinOTP is a solution for strong two-factor authentication with one time passwords. It features a modular architecture into which UserIdResolver, authentication, and OTP calculation modules can be plugged. It includes UserIdResolver modules for LDAP/AD, SQL, and flat file user databases, and authentication modules for PAM and RADIUS. New modules can be developed easily. Supported tokens are HMAC-OTP/HOTP (RFC 4226/ OATH compliant), Aladdin eToken PASS, eToken NG-OTP, Safeword Alpine, Yubikey, Google Authenticator, motp, SMS OTP/Mobile TAN, email token, and a Simple Pass token for users without token hardware. TOTP is supported, along with a new algorithm for daily passwords for applications not supporting RADIUS. OCRA tokens are supported to allow transaction signing in banking environments. CLI, Web, and GTK+ GUI clients are available for management. LinOTP features multi-client capability, redundancy, and a self-service portal. It has been used with PAM for local and SSH logins, Apache, VPN, and Windows Terminal Server, and is OATH certified.
The Palabos library offers a framework in C++ for fluid flow simulations with the lattice Boltzmann (LB) method. Originally conceived as a research tool for lattice Boltzmann models, the code has evolved into a general-purpose program for computational fluid dynamics. The programming interface is straightforward and offers an access to the rich world of lattice Boltzmann, even to an audience with restricted theoretical knowledge of this method. A special emphasis is put on high performance and parallel computing.
CodingTeam is a software forge that is lightweight and extensible. It provides a lot of collaborative tools. With this software forge, projects can benefit from basic features (such as screenshots, downloads, uploads, and news), communication features (such as chatrooms, forums, the OpenForge API, and Jabber/XMPP integration), and development features (such as a VCS code browser, a bug tracker, SVG statistics, timeline, and roadmap). Also provided are community tools (project browsing, tag clouds, notepad, and user profiles).
SOFA is a statistics, analysis, and reporting program with an emphasis on ease of use, learning as you go, and beautiful output. SOFA can connect directly to your database and lets you display results in an attractive format ready to share or put in a spreadsheet. SOFA will help you learn as you go, whether you are a student, business analyst, or researcher.
