Akeni Instant Messaging Server Pro is a client/server instant messaging platform that allows companies to host their own secured private IM system. The client has an user interface similar to AIM, ICQ, or MSN Messenger. It supports all the standard IM features such as chat, group conference, presence management, file transfer, offline messages, and emergency alert/notification. Extra features include contact management and optional tabbed chat sessions. The server has advanced administration tools for managing user accounts, client-side logging capabilities, and peer-to-peer file transfers. It can be set up on a private network without connecting to the Internet, and can easily be set up for use inside and outside of the company firewall.
Infotrope Polymer is a fully roaming online IMAP client. You can roam with your full configuration, your addressbooks, and even your bookmarks. It's fully ACAP enabled, and will operate with or without a local disk cache, and over very narrow connectivity (like GPRS), using minimal bandwidth. It supports the majority of extensions to ESMTP, IMAP, and ACAP, whether in RFC or I-D.
Wallal is a standalone LDAP-to-Web gateway. It allows you to search, add to, modify, and delete from an LDAP database. It can format entries and validate them upon submission, and the entries displayed are fully configurable. It was designed with a "personal" LDAP server in mind (one that is used primarily as a phonebook). However, it should be reasonably easy to modify it to do more complex operations on a directory.
