Granite Data Services (GraniteDS) is a comprehensive development and integration solution for building Flex / JavaEE RIA applications. The primary goal of this project is to provide a framework for Flex 3+/EJB3/Seam/Spring/Guice/POJO application development with full AMF3/RemoteObject benefits. It also features a Comet-like Data Push implementation (AMF3 requests sent over HTTP) and ActionScript3 code generation tools (Ant task and Eclipse Builder).
AsDoclet can be used to generate Actionscript and C# files out of Java sources. Such a tool is useful for RIA and client/server applications where value objects are transmitted between server and client as serialized data that should be deserializable on both ends again. That includes remoting technologies like Flash Remoting, RTMP, Blaze DS, Red5, and Hessian.
The PushButton Engine is a Flash game engine and framework that's designed for a new generation of games. It makes it easy to bring together great existing libraries and components for building Flash games and makes it possible to spend less time on code and more time on building fun games.
Kaltura Community Edition is a self-hosted version of the Kaltura video platform, developed through the combined efforts of Kaltura and its worldwide developer community. You can use it to run a live online video service or as a development environment framework for developing Kaltura-based applications and extensions. You can access the Kaltura API Suite for enabling development of diverse online video solutions, integrations, and extensions, deploy and integrate Kaltura's video platform within your own infrastructure or preferred cloud service provider, integrate with Kaltura's widgets, applications, and CMS/LMS extensions, and integrate with the CDN of your choice for content delivery.
AS3WavSound allows you to embed wav files into your project compiled with the open source Flash SDK compiler. Normally this is not possible and circumvented either by: using a licensed expensive editor that does this for you, or by the very ugly .swf workaround. This library does it natively and cleanly.
ABPlayer is a video player developed with the Flex 3/4 SDK. It allows users to post comments onto the playing timeline while playing online video. Comments are scrolled across the screen when the video reaches the timeline position of the comment, allowing interactive and realtime commenting on the video. It also features bottom, top, positioned, and reverse scroll options which allow users to create closed captioning and subtitles for videos. Comments support color, font, size, transitions, movements, 3D transforms, and opacity.
