Elisa Media Center is a project to create a media center solution for GNU/Linux and Unix operating systems. Elisa runs on top of the GStreamer multimedia framework. In addition to personal video recorder functionality (PVR) and Music Jukebox support, Elisa also interoperates with devices following the DLNA standard, like Intel's ViiV systems.
Elite remake: The Battle For Birera is an OpenGL Elite port to Qt. It has a completely rewritten AI. There are now battles going on in universe that are independent of the player: pirates attacking trader convoys, police patrols attacking pirates, or even complete war outbreaks. The goal is to be on par with ArcElite (Archimedes Elite). It should compile on any Qt supported platform.
Elmer is a computational tool for multi-physics problems that has been developed in collaboration with Finnish universities, research laboratories and industry. It includes physical models of fluid dynamics, structural mechanics, electromagnetics, and heat transfer. These are described by partial differential equations which are solved by the Finite Element Method (FEM). It comprises of several different parts. The geometry, boundary conditions and physical models are defined in ElmerFront. The resulting problem definition is solved by ElmerSolver. Results are the visualized by ElmerPost. An ElmerGrid utility may be used for simple mesh manipulation.
Equalizer is middleware for creating and deploying parallel OpenGL-based applications. It enables applications to benefit from multiple graphics cards, processors, and computers to scale rendering performance, visual quality, and display size. An Equalizer-based application runs unmodified on any visualization system, from a simple workstation to large scale graphics clusters, multi-GPU workstations, and Virtual Reality installations.
Fandango is a GL-rendered, Python-scripted CAD program. The low-level functionality is programmed in C++, and then the relevant functions are exposed to Python and used as building blocks for more functions. Currently the memory core allows lines, triangles, line strips, and triangle strips. Texture, blending, and lighting can be switched on and off from a command line.
FastVox is an API for volume visualization that can be embedded into OpenGL displays. It features a multi-threaded realtime volume rendering engine which is based on a set of plugins that range from high-speed software-based renderers to hardware-accelerated renderers designed for current generation graphics hardware.
