KaGez-Production aims to make game developing under Linux easier. Tutorials and examples, reaching from simple console applications (non- graphical) to OpenGL games, are available, as well as tools like Image-Viewers, and 3D-Model viewers. All applications will be made for Linux only, most graphical items will work with GTK+/GNOME.
PCity is a procedural city generator. It uses a configuration file and few maps (e.g. population density or a height map) and can be tuned via various parameters. Its features include street network generation, building generation, texture generation from a texture library, and a visualization engine.
The Simulus Game Engine is a cross-platform, flexible, and easy-to-use game engine. It is capable of running on Windows and Linux and can support multiple APIs for rendering, audio, etc. It is built to be as flexible as possible to the advanced programmer while still maintaining ease of use for the beginning programmer. File formats are XML-based. It currently supports OpenGL rendering with meshes, lighting, texturing, scenes, cameras, and sprites.
Radiator is a radiosity renderer. It implements matrix, progressive, and hierarchical radiosity with clustering, and handles a variety of model formats, including multiresolution models. It also comes with a visualisation front-end, 'radvis', useful for previewing scenes or teaching, a scene viewer 'slview', and a Mesa-based batch rendering program, 'slrender'.
