VisIt is an interactive parallel visualization and graphical analysis tool for viewing scientific data. Users can quickly generate visualizations from their data, animate them through time, manipulate them, and save the resulting images for presentations. VisIt contains a rich set of visualization features so that you can view your data in a variety of ways. It can be used to visualize scalar and vector fields defined on two- and three-dimensional (2D and 3D) structured and unstructured meshes. It was designed to interactively handle very large data set sizes in the terascale range, and works well down to small data sets in the kilobyte range.

Voreen is a rapid application development framework for the interactive visualization and analysis of multi-modal volumetric data sets. It provides GPU-based volume rendering and data analysis techniques and offers high flexibility when developing new analysis workflows in collaboration with domain experts. The Voreen framework consists of a multi-platform C++ library, which can be easily integrated into existing applications, and a Qt-based stand-alone application.
WireFusion allows interactive, plug-in free, and very compact Java presentations and product simulations to be created for the Web. Development involves visually connecting preprogrammed objects or by coding in Java. Several add-ons are available, including a real-time 3D engine where textures can be replaced with interactive 2D presentations, an MPEG video player, a slide show viewer, and an MP3 player.
World Foundry is a 3D level game engine and asset production pathway with over 170,000 lines of code. It was originaly created as a commercial product, but is now being released under the GPL. The engine was designed from the beginning to be cross platform, and ran on Windows (DirectX, GL), and the Sony Playstation. The production pathway ran on Windows, and extended 3DStudio Max to be our level editor. The engine is currently being ported to Linux (it runs, but needs work), with plans to port the production pathway as well. Developers are wanted to help with this effort.

Wykobi provides a concise, predictable, and deterministic interface for geometric primitives and complex geometric routines using and conforming to the ISO/IEC 14882:2003 C++ language specification. The design and structure of Wykobi lends itself to easy and seamless integration into projects of any scale that require a robust yet efficient 2D/3D computational geometry back-end.
