cgic is an ANSI C-language library for the creation of CGI-based World Wide Web applications. cgic performs the following tasks: It parses form data, with browser correction, Transparently accepts both GET and POST form data, Handles line breaks in form fields in a consistent manner, Provides string, integer, floating-point, and single/multiple-choice functions to retrieve form data, provides bounds checking for numeric fields, loads CGI environment variables into C strings which are always non-null, and provides a way to capture CGI situations for replay in a debugging environment.
CGIBurn is a Web-based front end for burning CDs. Out of the box, it knows how to copy from one data CD to another, from a directory of files onto a CD, from a CD into a directory of files, and some other, less useful options. It is designed with the goals of letting a home or office share a single CD burner between multiple users, and offloading the processing required by CD burning onto a dedicated machine.
CGI:IRC is a Perl/CGI program that allows you to use IRC from a Web browser without having to have access to an IRC port. It does not use Java, but it does need a browser capable of rendering frames. It can be used on a Web page to allow users to chat, or it can be used to access chat from behind a firewall.
CGI::XMLForm allows properly written forms to generate complex XML structures on the backend. The form designer uses XSL/XQL style patterns to name form elements. This module then generates XML based on those form elements. The module also includes a very simple XQL-like search utility that aids building interactive XML editing applications.
CGI::Application is a Perl framework intended to make it easier to create sophisticated, reusable Web-based applications. This module implements a methodology which can make Web software easier to design, easier to document, easier to write, and easier to evolve. CGI::Application builds on standard, non-proprietary technologies and techniques, such as the Common Gateway Interface and Lincoln D. Stein's excellent CGI.pm module. CGI::Application judiciously avoids employing technologies and techniques which would bind a developer to any one set of tools, operating system, or Web server.
cgi-util is a fast, easy to use C library for creating CGI programs. Functions are available for initialization (parsing), grabbing fields (by string, integer, double or boolean value), embedding HTML files, and more. It accepts both POST and GET request methods and has extensive error handling.
