konspire is a searchable, distributed file-sharing system featuring resumable file transfers and fast, exhaustive substring searches of all hosted file names on the network. konspire is written using pure Java. Load from processing search requests is distributed throughout a dynamically connected network of servers. Several fault-tolerant features ensure system correctness and reliability.
KQuick is the KDE interface for a stable single-click translating system. It is useful for translating words between 40 languages and describing acronyms, and you can integrate your own databases. KQuick includes 150 MB of databases, over 15,000,000 data entries, over 20,000 acronyms, postal codes of Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and the USA, and some special databases.
The K Rapid Acoustic Dialer is a flexible tone dialer for KDE 2.0. It supports multiple dialsets, QuickDial phone database, and a dialset editor. Dialsets are loaded from a simple XML-based file format, and audio latency is minimized to ensure precise dial timings. Planned features are tone detection and advanced scripting.
