Libsmi is a C library that allows network management applications to access SMI MIB module information through a well-defined API that hides the nasty details of locating and parsing SMIv1/v2 MIB modules. Libsmi supports exact and iterative retrieval functions for all major SMIv1, SMIv2, and SMIng constructs. Some tools allow SMI module queries, checks, dumps, extraction, and various conversions and code generation.

libbtrace is a library for Linux which helps debug in circumstances where it is not possible to run gdb, such as multithreaded programs. The library provides functionality to print function backtrace information, similar to that obtained with the bt command in gdb.

libCIM is a collection of Perl modules which serves as a basis for an implementation of the CIM (Common Information Model). It provides classes which "mirror" corresponding CIM entities (such as CIM::Class, CIM::Instance) and an API for use in CIM clients.

libcsc is a general programming library written in C. It contains balanced binary tree, lists (queue/stack), notification subsystem, BSD socket functions, etc. It also contains a small primitive kernel abstraction layer with a message queue, semaphore, shared memory, and tasking api implemented for Unix and vxWorks (an embedded realtime kernel). libcsc completely superceedes librt which is no longer being maintained.

libdatablk is a MOO-like type library for C. It is being developed for use in a MOO-like server, but may have other, useful applications. Basically it allows a variable to contain either a string, number or list (or one of several MOO-like values, errors, object references).

lcra renames filenames like COMMAND.COM and MAIN.C to more tasteful ones like command.com and main.c. It tries to guess which filenames are DOS-ish ones needing changing, and which are really meant to be uppercase. It will fix the contents of a directory and all subdirectories. The companion program nsra changes spaces in filenames to underscores.

The LDAP class for PHP is an easy way to interface your PHP program with an LDAP directory server. The interface is similar to what you would find in a filesystem. You can easily navigate through your directory server similar to the way you would navigate a filesystem with commands such as cd(), mkdir(), etc. A Web-based LDAP browser/modifier is supplied with the class library.

ldap-abook is an LDAP-based addressbook application, intended for users wishing to maintain a centralized server based addressbook. It provides a schema for an LDAP directory, a Perl library module, and a CGI script. The Web interface is used to view, add, modify, and delete entries. Any LDAP-aware email client (eg. Netscape Messenger, Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc.) can be configured to look up email addresses on the LDAP server. The package also includes a Perl script which can be used to dump the directory onto a PalmOS device.
